Scientific heritage of Graduates of the Harbin Polytechnic Institute

Graduates of the Harbin Polytechnic Institute, the largest Russian higher education institution in China, were scattered around of the world. The article traces the main milestones in the history of the Institute and describes the contribution of its graduates, who moved to the USSR, to Russian science.
