Participation of Academician of Medicine Zinaida Vissarionovna Ermolyeva in the preparation and application of adaptogens in the 1960s and 1970s.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviet microbiologist Z.V. Ermolyeva devoted considerable attention in her scientific work to the study and development of adaptogens and biostimulants, as well as new methods for obtaining various medicines. Throughout the 1960s, she studied the prodigiosan polysaccharide complex, and in the early 1970s, the scientist took part in the development of a method for obtaining a new derivative of orotic acid. The publication attempts to reconstruct individual episodes of this scientific direction of the laboratories of the Department of Microbiology of the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Training in the activities of Academician of Medicine Z.V. Ermolyeva.
