On August 25, 2025, Yuriy Ivanovich Krivonosov, a historian of science and a candidate of technical sciences, turned 95. He dedicated many years to his work at the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology, joining the department of the history of technology in 1984 as a senior research fellow. In 1995, he headed the history of science policy research group. From 1998 to 2010, he was head of the department of general problems of scientific development.
