Abstract

Through the prism of childhood memories, the article recounts several stories about the participation of Academician Bonifaty Mikhailovich Kedrov, a renowned philosopher and historian of science, Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in the People's Militia and in the battles near Moscow during the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
